Who we are

DeckChair is a unique company founded by pioneers in computer-supported learning; co-creators of Sniffy the Virtual Rat, one of the first truly interactive programs for teaching psychology. They created DeckChair to commercialize advances in computer-supported learning developed at The University of Toronto.

DeckChair is different than most e-learning services on the market today. We’re not focused on systems for administrating education. Our top priority is using our expertise, and our lab-proven technology, to enable clients to deliver better teaching and create high performance learning environments.

Our services are endorsed by the President of the University of Toronto, supported by MaRS (Ontario’s leading-edge commercialization facility) and TIG (The Innovations Group at University of Toronto) and have twice been awarded funds by the Ontario Centres of Excellence.
